Who we are
Zen Clutter is operated by [registered company name], [registered address]. For anything on this page, write to support@zenclutter.com.
The desktop application
Zen Clutter stores your files, tasks, calendar entries, notes, contacts, bookmarks and journal on your own computer. We do not host an account system for it, and none of that content is sent to us.
The one exception is the Zeno assistant, which needs an internet connection because it sends your prompt to a language-model provider to get an answer. [Name the model provider here and link to their privacy policy.]
This website
This site is deliberately quiet. Specifically:
- No cookies. The site sets none. There is no consent banner because there is nothing to consent to.
- No analytics and no tracking pixels. No Google Analytics, no Meta pixel, no session recording.
- No third-party fonts or scripts. The Archivo typeface is served from this server, not from Google Fonts, so your browser makes no request to another company to read this page.
Our hosting provider keeps standard server logs (IP address, page requested, time, browser user-agent) as a normal part of running and securing a web server. These are retained by the host and are not used by us to profile anyone.
The contact form
If you use the form on the homepage we receive the name, email address and message you type, plus the IP address the message came from, which is recorded to help us deal with spam and abuse.
We use it to answer you, and for nothing else. It is not added to a mailing list, not used for marketing, and not shared with any third party beyond the email provider that carries the message to our inbox. The lawful basis is our legitimate interest in responding to enquiries about our product.
Enquiries are kept in our mailbox for [e.g. 24 months] and then deleted.
Buying a license
Payment is handled by Lemon Squeezy, which acts as merchant of record. When you buy, you give your details to them, not to us — we never see or store your card number. They pass us the information needed to issue your license key and deal with support and refunds. Their own privacy policy governs what they do with it.
Your rights
You can ask us for a copy of the personal data we hold about you, ask us to correct it, ask us to delete it, or object to our using it. Write to support@zenclutter.com and we will respond within one month. If you are in the UK you may also complain to the Information Commissioner's Office; elsewhere in the EEA, to your national data protection authority.
Changes
If this notice changes we will update the date at the top. Material changes will be called out on this page rather than made quietly.
